#18: The TV Guide
The TV Guide was an essential part of American culture for decades. Even in the 90s, TV Guide Magazine was a staple of the living room coffee table. How else was someone supposed to figure out the weekly schedule of their favorite TV shows? Nowadays, we have Google, cable, and streaming platforms that tell us what to watch. TV Guide must not exist anymore, right?

Wrong! TV Guide Magazine is still going strong, somehow. They publish a print version of their magazine on a monthly basis. It’s kind of nice to know that print publications like this still exist. There’s something nostalgic about picking up a TV Guide these days. Keep an eye out for a print version next time you’re waiting in line at the grocery store.
