This common misconception doesn’t refer to just one job. You are the best at your job, and you know it. You are so good at your job, you know that there’s no one who could come close to touching your greatness. Are you management material, though? According to this Twitter user, there’s a big difference between being a good employee and being a good manager.
A management position might sound like a dream, but you have to have exceptional people skills to be a good manager (among other things). Don’t get so busy looking up the ladder that you forget how awesome you are. If you’ve ever had a good manager, you would know how much your work is appreciated.
