Nurses are highly trained professionals, and you’ll never see one running around the hospital in a daring costume as seen in movies. In fact, you might not see them in a hospital at all. There are many different types of nursing specialties, and you’re just as likely to see a nurse in a school, in someone’s home, or working on a cruise ship.
And don’t go getting any wild ideas that nurses are making almost as much as doctors. Nurses often work extremely long hours and often get paid on an hourly basis. Nursing might be one of the world’s oldest professions, but it seems that society still doesn’t understand it and appreciate it for its importance.
