#5: Put You on Hold
We’ve just talked about lousy customer service, but there are times – such as this case below – when lousy customer service is excusable and even expected. This person gave this restaurant a 1-star review because “they put you on hold and never come back.” The owner of the establishment left a reply explaining the situation, which makes us think the customer isn’t always right.
Apparently, they had a medical emergency at the store – the server taking the order had a seizure on the job, and obviously, he could not complete the order. Despite having to deal with this medical emergency, the restaurant did its best to provide this person with service. This story really makes you lose all faith in people’s kindness, huh?
