#44: What’s Your Point?
We’ve already seen how people post almost anything on social media. Every thought that comes into their head, feelings, and random observations. This person shared what he thought was a romantic observation about the French language: how instead of saying “I miss you,” they have a phrase that means “you are missing from me.”
He thought this was a sweet sentiment and a nice thing to share with the world. Another Twitter user didn’t get the point of this post, and went on about how in Texas, you don’t say “you all,” but rather “y’all”, which means “you all” unless there’s a lot of “y’all” and then it’s “all y’all” which means “all you all”. We wouldn’t call it amazing, but it’s definitely confusing.
