#4: Customer Service
Customer service, of any kind and anywhere, is notorious for its bad service. Whether it’s a bank, a gym, a mobile company, or an appliance store, you know their customer service is bad. You expect it to be bad. It’s almost as if they have certain bad standards they have to uphold, to not disappoint their customers, who are expecting lousy service.
In some places, the customer service employees might be rude, and in other places, they might have good intentions, but there’s just nothing they can do to provide quick service. We don’t know whether this person actually got a job at Comcast only to fix his cable – that seems like a comic exaggeration – but knowing how bad customer service can be, there’s a part of me who believes him.
