We’ve already established cats’ independent, unapologetic nature. But if you weren’t fully convinced, here’s another sign from the Caroll Country vet clinic that speaks to cats’ nature. Dogs acknowledge that when they do something, they aren’t allowed to do so, and they feel guilt and even remorse sometimes.

Cats, on the other hand, never seem to feel guilty or acknowledge they did anything wrong. They also have no boundaries, so in their eyes, they can never do anything wrong. Eat from the counter? Sure. Sleep on the bed? Yes. They do whatever they want and don’t take “no” for an answer.
