College Students Open Up About Their College Experience and It’s Eye-Opening

It sounds like this person has had some bad experiences with long-distance relationships. It’s not uncommon for college students to have long-distance relationships. People don’t have to give up on their high school relationships when going off to college, so if you’re both accepted to different states, sometimes the only option is long-distance.

Unfortunately, long-distance relationships are often doomed to fail. Some people will say it’s the lack of physical closeness that drives the couples apart, but this person has a different opinion. According to this UM student, long-distance relationships fail when one or both of the partners stop making an effort. We couldn’t agree more. What do you think?
