Actress Kristie Alley rose to fame in the early eighties thanks to her role as Lieutenant JG Saavik in the popular science fiction film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Following that role, she went on to star in the sitcom Cheers and Veronica’s Closet, which marked her as a rising star during the nineties and earned her a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
At the age of 19, Alley married her high school sweetheart, but the two separated seven years later. In 1983, she married her second husband, actor Parker Stevenson, but this marriage wasn’t meant to last either. Following their divorce in 1997, they received shared custody of their two children. In 2016, Alley’s son William welcomed to the world his first child, making the actress a grandmother.
