#5: Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama
Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama’s relationship lasted from 2010 to 2016 and was notable for the significant age difference. At the start of their relationship, Lovato was around 18, while Valderrama was approximately 30, creating a significant age gap of about 12 years. Despite the age difference, their bond became evident as they supported each other through various personal challenges.
Their official breakup came after nearly six years of ups and downs. Later on, Demi released the song “29.” The melody explores the complexities of age and consent, touching upon sensitive topics. Although she has not explicitly explained the song’s inspiration, it invites contemplation about the dynamics that can occur in relationships with significant age gaps.
