#8: Checking Your Phone While Talking to Someone
We’ve talked about how the art of conversation is dying in the digital age and how smartphones have taken over pretty much every aspect of our lives and have turned us into self-absorbed, uninvolved zombies. Well, this entry pretty much sums it all up.
Being on your phone in any social setting – but especially in a one-on-one conversation – is probably the rudest thing a person can do. Still, somehow, many people get away with it. It’s one of those things we’ve just accepted as a fact of life that can’t be changed.
