The Templeton family took a little trip to the small English town of Burgh by Sands in 1964, where they took photos of their five-year-old daughter in a field. Nothing about this story seems remarkable until further inspection. Once the pictures were developed, there was a figure in the background, seemingly wearing an all-white outfit and helmet, looking like an astronaut.

Jim Templeton, the girl’s father, did not recall anyone behind his daughter when the photo was taken. He had taken them back to the store to make sure no one had tampered with the images, and as they weren’t tampered with, it became a mystery.
