When it comes to people who have one job but somehow manage to mess it up, cake decorators are in a league of their own. There have been entire blogs and books dedicated to cake decorators who see requests for text on cakes, and instead of thinking about it critically to understand what the person actually wants, they pipe on exactly what was asked for.

Do they all just hate their jobs and want their customers to suffer? There’s no way on earth that this person could have failed to understand that the customer wanted them to translate “Happy Birthday” into Spanish. It really seems like this cake decorator just wanted to ruin this person’s birthday.
